Zabo Foods, Inc. was founded in 2010 as Maize Pluss, a wholesale supplier of vegetable chips and fruit chips. The company underwent a name change to Zabo Foods. Zabo is a unique name which was chosen due to its phonetic sound. Our research has shown that children gravitate to products with the "Z" sound.
Zabo Foods believes in tasty nutritional foods and wanted out name to reflect favorably on younger audiences. Zabo Foods realized there is an ever growing trend by consumers to be healthier. The obesity rate in our country is sky rocketing. There is a need for tasty nutritional healthy snacks, as more and more schools are replacing fat laden chips and other unhealthy products that are bad for children. Zabo vegetable and fruit chips fill this need.
